BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 07 October 2022 – The Ministry of Defence launched the upgrade of the Ministry of Defence’s civilian staff Identification Card at the Auditorium Hall, Security Education Centre, Defence Security Branch, Defence Minister’s Office and Directorate of Strategic Planning today.
Present as Guest of Honour was Brigadier General (Retired) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abd. Kadir, Deputy Minister of Defence.
The Guest of Honour officiated the launching ceremony with the kalimah Bismillahirahmanirahim, followed by a short video clip showcasing the history and evolution of the Ministry of Defence civilian staff Identification Cards. The new card contained an in-built high technology system which has the potential to effectively monitor and managed personal data towards the overall enhancement of security.
The Guest of Honour and invited guests also witnessed a demonstration of the system’s ability to manage data requirements and the Identification Card production process.
The upgrade of the Ministry of Defence civilian staff identification card is an initiative by the Defence Security Branch to further improve security in the defence organisation with the use of appropriate technology that supports the increasingly dynamic, complex and challenging security landscape.
MAJLIS PELANCARAN PENAIKTARAFAN KAD KAKITANGAN AWAM KEMENTERIAN PERTAHANAN
BOLKIAH GARISON, Juma’at, 07 Oktober 2022 – Kementerian Pertahanan telah melancarkan penaiktarafan kad pengenalan kakitangan awam Kementerian Pertahanan di Dewan Auditorium, Pusat Pendidikan Sekuriti, Cawangan Sekuriti Pertahanan, Jabatan Menteri Pertahanan dan Jabatanarah Perancangan Strategik hari ini.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat majlis ialah Yang Mulia Brigedier Jeneral (Bersara) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abd. Kadir, Timbalan Menteri Pertahanan.
Tetamu Kehormat merasmikan Majlis pelancaran tersebut dengan bacaan kalimah Bismillahirahmanirahim, diikuti dengan tayangan klip video pendek yang memaparkan sejarah dan evolusi kad pengenalan kakitangan awam Kementerian Pertahanan. Kad baru tersebut mengandungi sistem canggih dengan penggunaan teknologi terkini yang berpotensi untuk memantau serta menaiktaraf pengurusan data kearah peningkatan keselamatan secara keseluruhan.
Tetamu kehormat dan para jemputan juga turut menyaksikan demonstrasi keupayaan sistem dalam mengurus keperluan data dan proses penghasilan kad pengenalan tersebut.
Penaiktarafan kad pengenalan kakitangan awam Kementerian Pertahanan ini adalah salah satu inisiatif Cawangan Sekuriti Pertahanan bagi meningkatkan lagi keselamatan dalam organisasi pertahanan dengan penggunaan teknologi bersesuaian bagi mendokong persekitaran sekuriti yang kian dinamik, kompleks dan mencabar.
