BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Monday, 6 June 2022 – The Ministry of Defence held a State Honorary Award presentation ceremony in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s birthday celebrations for the year 2018-2021 at An-Naura Hall, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex in Bandar Seri Begawan today.
The State Honorary Awards was presented to 768 officers and staff from the Ministry of Defence and Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister of Defence II.
Also present at the ceremony were Major General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, RBAF Commander; Acting Permanent Secretary, Service Commanders, Deputy Permanent Secretaries, Directors and senior officers of the Ministry of Defence and the RBAF.
419 civilian officers and staff from the Ministry of Defence and RBAF received the Excellent Service Medal (P.I.K.B.); 95 RBAF officers and personnel were awarded the Pingat Pahlawan Periwara (P.P.); 31 RBAF officers and personnel were awarded the Pingat Asgar Pahlawan (A.P.), 04 RBAF officers and personnel were awarded the Pingat Penglima Lasgar (P.L.) and 219 civilian officers and staff from the Ministry of Defence received the Long Service Medal (P.K.L.).
The ceremony concluded with a Doa Selamat read by Commander Haji Ainolnizam bin Haji Ibrahim, RBN, Acting Director of the RBAF Religious Directorate (JAMA’AT).
The conferment of the State Honorary Medals serves as a recognition and inspiration for the officers and staff of the Ministry of Defence and RBAF to continuously progress and excel in serving and contributing to the country.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Isnin, 6 Jun 2022 – Kementerian Pertahanan mengadakan Majlis Penyampaian Pingat Kehormatan Negara Brunei Darussalam sempena Hari Keputeraan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam bagi tahun 2018 hingga 2021 yang berlangsung di Dewan An-Naura, Kompleks Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) hari ini.
Hadir bagi menyempurnakan penyampaian pingat kepada 768 pegawai dan warga Kementerian Pertahanan dan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) ialah Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Mejar Jeneral (B) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Menteri Pertahanan Kedua.
Turut hadir di majlis tersebut ialah Mejar Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah ABDB, Pemangku Setiausaha Tetap, Pemerintah-Pemerintah Angkatan Tentera, Timbalan-Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap, Pengarah-pengarah dan pegawai-pegawai kanan Kementerian Pertahanan dan ABDB.
419 pegawai dan warga Kementerian Pertahanan dan ABDB telah menerima Pingat Indah Kerja Baik (P.I.K.B.); 95 pegawai dan anggota ABDB menerima Pingat Pahlawan Periwara (P.P.); 31 pegawai dan anggota ABDB menerima Pingat Asgar Pahlawan (A.P.); 4 pegawai dan anggota ABDB menerima Pingat Penglima Lasgar(P.L.); dan 219 pegawai dan warga awam Kementerian Pertahanan menerima Pingat Kerja Lama (P.K.L.).
Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Selamat oleh Komander Haji Ainolnizam bin Haji Ibrahim, TLDB, Pemangku Pengarah Jabatanarah Agama (JAMA’AT).
Pengurniaan Pingat Kehormatan Negara Brunei Darussalam adalah merupakan satu pengiktirafan dan penyuntik semangat bagi warga Kementerian Pertahanan dan ABDB untuk terus maju dan cemerlang, demi berbakti dan memberi sumbangan kepada negara.
