JAKARTA, INDONESIA Saturday 10 November 2012 - A delegation from the Ministry of Defence, led by Dato Paduka Haji Mustappa Bin Haji Sirat, the Deputy Minister of Defence attended the 5th INDO Defence 2012 EXPO & Forum, which was held from the 7 to 10 November 2012 in Jakarta, Indonesia. More than 600 exhibitors from 50 countries participated in the exhibition.
During the 1st day of the event, the delegation also conducted a courtesy call on Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, the Deputy Minister of Defence of Indonesia. On the 2nd day of the event, a courtesy call was held with Purnomo Yusgiantoro, the Minister of Defence of Indonesia. During the courtesy calls, both parties expressed satisfaction at the continued support and cooperation between the two defense establishments.
The delegation from MINDEF was also given the opportunity to visit “Rumah Sakit Angkatan Darat (RSPAD) Gatot Soebroto”, a military hospital in Jakarta, to tour the facilities and quality of health care that is afforded at the hospital.
