MUARA, Thursday 4 June 2015 – The Second Joint Operations and Exercises Sub-Committee (JOESC) meeting was held in the Multi-National Coordination Centre. The meeting was co-chaired by Brigadier General (U) Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, Joint Force Commander of RBAF as the Head of JOESC Brunei and Mayor Jenderal TNI Indra Hidayat, Assistant to the TNI Commander in Chief for Operations, Panglima Tentara Nasional Indonesia as the Head of JOESC Indonesia.
Brunei-Indonesia JOESC is one of the sub-committees that have been established under the Brunei-Indonesia High Level Committee, in which discussion is centered in the field of operational duties and exercises between the two Armed Forces. Through this platform, it will enhance existing ties between both Armed Forces.
The outcome of the meeting is to continue to foster relationship, enhance cooperations and improve interoperability of both Armed Forces through exercises and interactions with all tri-services.
