RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, 23 November 2023 – The Closing Ceremony for the Basic Safety Equipment Fitter Course Intake 6/2023 was conducted by No. 75 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF). The course was held for 10 weeks, starting from 18 September until 24 November 2023, with a total of 4 course participants from No. 5 Wing, Support Group, RBAirF.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Major (U) Pg Abd Azim bin Pg Idris, Acting Squadron Commander of No. 75 Squadron, No. 7 Wing, RBAirF. Also present were the Officer in Charge of the Course Design and Development/Continuous Training Advisory Team (CDAD/CTAT), the Officer in Charge of Technical Training, course instructors and invited guests. The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by a speech and certificate presentation by the Guest of Honour. The event then concluded with a closing Doa.
Throughout the course, participants were exposed to aspects of safety such as fire fighting, first aid, handling maintenance, as well as repair of safety and survival equipment. The course aims to equip and enable trainee personnel with the trade skills appropriate to the Safety Equipment Fitter Trade, enabling them to fulfil the job description of the Survival Equipment Fitter at a class 3 level.
MAJLIS PENUTUP BAGI KURSUS BASIC SURVIVAL EQUIPMENT FITTER PENGAMBILAN KE 6/2023
PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, 23 November 2023 – Majlis Penutup bagi Kursus Basic Safety Equipment Fitter Pengambilan ke 6/2023 telah sempurna dilaksanakan oleh Skuadron 75, Cawangan No. 7, Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB). Kursus tersebut telah dijalankan selama 10 minggu bermula pada 18 September sehingga 24 November 2023 dan dihadiri oleh 4 anggota daripada Cawangan No. 5, Kumpulan Bantu, TUDB.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Mejar (U) Pg Abd Azim bin Pg Idris, Pemangku Pegawai Memerintah Skuadron 75, Cawangan No. 7, TUDB. Turut hadir ialah Pegawai Penguasa Rekaan dan Perkembangan Kursus/Tim Penasihat dan Kesinambungan Latihan, Pegawai Penguasa Latihan Teknikal, jurulatih-jurulatih kursus dan para jemputan. Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah diikuti dengan ucapan serta penyampaian sijil yang disempurnakan oleh Tetamu Kehormat. Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Penutup.
Di sepanjang kursus ini, para peserta telah didedahkan kepada aspek keselamatan seperti memadam kebakaran, pertolongan cemas, menangani penyelenggaraan serta membaik pulih alat keselamatan dan ikhtiar hidup. Kursus ini bertujuan untuk melengkapkan dan membolehkan peserta kursus dengan kemahiran, bersesuaian dengan Safety Equipment Fitter Trade yang membolehkan mereka memenuhi deskripsi kerja Survival Equipment Fitter di peringkat Kelas 3.
