Lt Col (U) Pengiran Irwandi bin Pengiran Haji Chuchu BBA Hons psc (j) is currently the Commanding Officer of the No.4 Wing Royal Brunei Air Force effective on 22nd March 2019. Prior to his current appointment, his previous post was at the Royal Brunei Air Force Headquarters as the Staff Officer Grade 2 for Logistics and Maintenance since 2015.

Born on the 13th February 1979, he enlisted in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces as a recruit after graduating from University Brunei Darussalam on 1st November 2002. Throughout his early service, he had opportunity to attend various courses locally and abroad namely the Initial Officer Training Royal Air Force College Cranwell in United Kingdom (2004), Basic Logistics Officers Course in Singapore (2005), International Supply Officer Training in United Kingdom (2006), Advance Logistics Officers Course in Singapore (2007), Junior Staff Course RBAF TI in Brunei Darussalam (2009), Pacific Air Rally in Cambodia (2013), Mobile Defence Intelligence Research Analysis Course (2016) and the Command and Staff Course 07 at the Command & Staff College Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (2017).

He held several appointments namely Technical Adjutant, Officer In Charge Forward Store Flight, Officer Commanding Supply Control Accounting Flight, Wing Commander D Wing Officer Cadet School RBAF, Intake Commander OCS RBAF and Squadron Commander Domestic Supply Squadron Logistics Wing.

Lt Col (U) Pengiran Irwandi is happily married to Hajjah Asdina binti Haji Muhammad Yassin and they are blessed with two children: Dayangku Nur Aisyah Azzahra and Awangku Muhammad Iskandar Arriffin. In the midst of all responsibilities, he is also quite active in sports particularly in marathons, trail runs, triathlons and obstacle race.
