KAMPONG LUAGAN DUDOK, TUTONG DISTRICT, Tuesday, 27 January 2026 – As part of the Hearts and Minds activities under Exercise
SEMANGAT WAJA (XSW) 08/2026, the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) held a Handover Ceremony of a Wooden Bridge Project, which took place at Jalan Sebatang Sentol, Kampong Luagan Dudok, Tutong District.
The ceremony was officiated by Yang Mulia Colonel Mohammad Fakarudin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, Field Commander of the RBLF. Also in attendance were Yang Mulia Awangku Arif Anuar bin Pengiran Haji Ahmad, Acting Tutong District Officer, the Penghulu of Mukim Keriam, the Village Head of Kampong Luagan Dudok, representatives from the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Commanding Officer of the Second Battalion (2Bn) RBLF.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of
Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat, followed by the handover of the project to the Acting Tutong District Officer and Yang Mulia Awang Ludin bin Haji Besar, whose residence was affected by flooding that destroyed the main access bridge. The incident led to an unsafe route, restricting daily movement and disrupting access to basic necessities. The ceremony concluded with viewing the project site and a group photo session.
Prolonged heavy rainfall driven by active monsoon conditions resulted in flash floods in several areas across the country. In response, the RBLF provided Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) in the Tutong District through the deployment of the Assault Pioneer Platoon from the 2Bn RBLF. The relief efforts included clearing debris from the damaged structure and conducting engineering work to construct a new, stronger and safer bridge. Construction materials were provided by the Royal Brunei Armed Forces in collaboration with the Tutong District Office.
The conduct of the Hearts and Minds project, held from 21 to 26 January 2026, represents one of the RBLF's initiatives to strengthen ties with the local community while supporting the social well-being through welfare activities. This initiative also underscores the RBAF's continued commitment to contributing positively towards national unity and development.

Hearts and Minds di bawah Eksesais SEMANGAT WAJA (XSW) 08/2026, Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Penyerahan Projek Jambatan Kayu, yang berlangsung di Jalan Sebatang Sentol, Kampong Luagan Dudok, Daerah Tutong.
Majlis tersebut telah disempurnakan oleh Yang Mulia Kolonel Mohammad Fakarudin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, Pemerintah Medan TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Awangku Arif Anuar bin Pengiran Haji Ahmad,nPemangku Pegawai Daerah Tutong, Penghulu Mukim Keriam, Ketua Kampong Luagan Dudok, wakil Kementerian Hal Ehwal Dalam Negeri, dan Pegawai Pemerintah Batalion Kedua (2Bn) TDDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan Doa Selamat, diikuti dengan penyerahan projek kepada Pemangku Pegawai Daerah Tutong dan Yang Mulia Awang Ludin bin Haji Besar, yang kediamannya terjejas akibat banjir sehingga memusnahkan jambatan laluan utama. Kejadian tersebut telah menyebabkan laluan berkenaan tidak selamat, sekaligus menghadkan pergerakan harian serta menjejaskan akses kepada keperluan asas. Majlis diakhiri dengan tinjauan ke tapak projek dan sesi bergambar ramai.
Keadaan hujan lebat berterusan akibat monsun aktif telah menyebabkan kejadian banjir kilat di beberapa kawasan di seluruh negara. Susulan itu, TDDB telah menghulurkan Bantuan Kemanusiaan dan Bencana (HADR) di Daerah Tutong dengan mengaturgerakan Platun Rintis Serang daripada 2Bn TDDB. Bantuan tersebut merangkumi kerja pembersihan sisa struktur jambatan yang rosak dan perlaksanakan kerja kejuruteraan bagi membina jambatan baharu yang lebih kukuh dan selamat, dengan bahan binaan disediakan oleh Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei dengan kerjasama Pejabat Daerah Tutong.
Pengendalian Projek
Hearts and Minds ini, yang berlangsung dari 21 hingga 26 Januari 2026, merupakan antara inisiatif TDDB untuk mengeratkan hubungan dengan masyarakat setempat, di samping mendokong kesejahteraan sosial melalui aktiviti kebajikan. Inisiatif ini turut mencerminkan komitmen berterusan ABDB dalam menyumbang secara positif ke arah pengukuhan perpaduan dan pembangunan negara.
