BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday 15 November 2019 - The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Football League 2019 Champion’s Match between the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) team against the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) team was held this afternoon at the Bolkiah Garrison Mini Stadium.
The RBAF Football League 2019 has already been won by the RBAirF team with the RBLF team and the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) team coming in second and third respectively. Also participating in the league were teams from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), and the Training Institute RBAF (TI RBAF).
The match today will be a separate match played between the top two league champions to compete for the Champions’ Trophy. Present as the Guest of Honour was the Commander of the RBAF, Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud.
The RBLF team emerged victorious today as the winners and recipients of the RBAF Football League 2019 Champions’ Trophy. The prizes were presented by the Guest of Honour, with further awards for Best Player presented to Lans Corporal Amir Azmal bin Mohd Tahir from RBAirF, Top Scorer to Captain Mohd Alif bin Haji Zulkifli from RBAirF and Best Goalkeeper to Lans Corporal Herme bin Panjang from RBAirF.
The aim of the RBAF Football League is to strengthen the relationships between all competing units as well as building sportsmanship between the RBAF football players.
PERLAWANAN JUARA-JUARA LIGA BOLA SEPAK PERINGKAT ABDB 2019
BOLKIAH GARISON, Jumaat 15 November 2019 – Perlawanan Juara-Juara Bola Sepak Peringkat Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) antara pasukan Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB) dan pasukan Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) telah berlangsung pada petang ini di Mini Stadium Bolkiah Garison.
Liga Bola Sepak Peringkat ABDB 2019 telah dijuarai oleh pasukan TUDB dengan pasukan TDDB dan pasukan Kementerian Pertahanan (KEMENTAH) masing-masing menduduki tempat kedua dan ketiga. Liga tersebut juga disertai oleh pasukan daripada Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB) dan Institut Latihan ABDB (IL ABDB).
Perlawanan hari ini adalah antara dua juara liga teratas untuk bersaing untuk Piala Juara-Juara. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Pemerintah ABDB, Mejar Jeneral Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud.
Pasukan TDDB muncul sebagai juara dan penerima Piala Juara-Juara Liga Bola Sepak Peringkat ABDB 2019. Hadiah kemenangan telah disampaikan oleh Tetamu Kehormat, dengan anugerah-anugerah selanjutnya; anugerah Pemain Terbaik dimenangi oleh Lans Koperal Amir Azmal bin Mohd Tahir dari TUDB, anugerah Penjaring Terbanyak dimenangi oleh Kapten Mohd Alif bin Haji Zulkifli dari TUDB dan anugerah Penjaga Gawang Terbaik dimenangi oleh Lans Koperal Herme bin Panjang dari TUDB.
Tujuan utama Liga Bola Sepak Peringkat ABDB ialah untuk mengeratkan hubungan silaturrahim di antara unit-unit serta memupuk semangat kesukanan dikalangan pemain-pemain bola sepak ABDB.
