ACTING RBAF COMMANDER RECEIVED COURTESY CALL FROM ROYAL AUSTRALIAN NAVYprint

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 24 April 2015 -  First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Abdul Aziz bin Haji Mohd Tamit, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces received a courtesy call from Captain Jonathan Earley, Director Maritime Operation, Fleet Command, Royal Australian Navy in conjunction with EX PENGUIN 16/15 between the Royal Brunei Navy and the Royal Australian Navy.

MUARA, Friday, 24 April 2015 – Today marked the end of Bilateral Exercise code named ‘EX PENGUIN 16/15’ between the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and the Royal Australian Navy (RAN), which was conducted from 20th April 2015 to 24th April 2015.


Over the last five days, both navies have achieved several objectives of the exercise. Both navies have shared and strengthen their naval professionalism through combined training and various sea evolutions.

THAILAND, BANGKOK, Thursday 23 April 2015​ - Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah, the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) made an introductory visit to the the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters (RTARF HQ) this morning.


Upon arrival at the RTARF HQ, Commander of the RBAF was welcomed by General Worapong Sanganetra, Chief of Defence Force, RTARF.

SINGAPORE SECOND MINISTER FOR DEFENCE & DMOD VISIT EX MAJU BERSAMAprint

TUTONG, Thursday 23 April 2015 – The Second Minister for Defence, Republic of Singapore, Mr Lui Tuck Yew and Dato Paduka Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat, Deputy Minister of Defence visited the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) and Singapore Army (SA) troops participating in the week-long Exercise MAJU BERSAMA and Exercise RINTIS BERSAMA.

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday 23 April 2015 – Dato Paduka Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat, Acitng Minister of Defence, received an introductory visit this morning from the Second Minister for Defence Mr Lui Tuck Yew, Ministry of Defence, Republic of Singapore.


The visit was held at the Ministry of Defence, Bolkiah Garrison.

BOLKIAH GARISON, Thursday 23 April 2015 – In line with the directorate’s vision – ‘Quality, Sustainability and Green Infrastructure’, Directorate of Development and Work Services (DDWS) has successfully conform to the certification of ISO 9001:2008 ‘Quality Management System’ after a Surveillance Audit an auditor from Bureau Veritas (Brunei) conducted on two separate dates 20 & 23 April 2015.

JERUDONG, Wednesday 22 April 2015 – In celebration of World Health Day, the Ministry of Defence in collaboration with Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) Gleneagles has organized a presentation on "Cardiac Awareness” for the Ministry of Defence and Royal Brunei Armed Forces this afternoon.


The guest of honour at this talk was the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Defence, Datin Paduka Hajah Suriyah binti Haji Umar.

RBAF COMMANDER CONFERRED WITH SINGAPORE HIGHEST MILITARY AWARDprint

ISTANA SINGAPORE, Wednesday 22 April 2015 - In a succession of senior military appointments, and as Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces since January 2014, Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohd Tawih bin Abdullah was conferred Singapore's highest military award, the Darjah Utama Bakti Cemerlang (Tentera) or Distinguished Service Order (Military), by President Tony Tan Keng Yam.


The event was held at the Istana Singapore yesterday 21 April 2015.
