​PASSING OUT PARADE OF 162nd INTAKE OF MALE RECRUITS AND 54th FEMALE RECRUITS

PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 12 October 2018 – A total of 158 male recruits of the 162nd intake and 67 female recruits of the 54th intake concluded their Basic Military Training (BMT) with a Passing Out Parade held today at the Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF) in Penanjong Garrison.

The male and female recruits underwent 31 weeks and 21 weeks of Basic Military Training respectively.

The guest of honour for the Passing Out Parade ceremony was Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Religion Affairs.

Also in attendance were Commander of the RBAF, Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Services Commanders, Commandants, senior officers, officers and other ranks of RBAF as well as family members and friends of the recruits.

During the ceremony, the guest of honour inspected the parade and presented awards to the instructors and recruits who performed and achieved excellence during the course of the training.

The awards recipients for the male 162th intake were:
1) 16439 Petty Officer Himran bin Haji Awang Hassan for Best Platoon Sergeant;
2) 17077 Corporal Mahdini bin Osli for Best Male Instructor;
3) 52551 Recruit Mohd Ali bin Emran for Best Overall Recruit;
4) 52624 Recruit Muhammad Syazwan bin Mahni Azizan for Best Recruit in Small Arms;
5) 52578 Recruit Muhd Muiz bin Rafiudin for Best in Physical Training;  
6) 52706 Recruit Khalid bin Haji Yussof, RBN for Best Military Skills;
7) 52673 Recruit (U) Ak Mohd Hamizan bin Pg Hj Gazali for Best Small Arms Shooter

Meanwhile, the female recruits were also presented awards in similar categories:
1) 21216 Sergeant Norbaya binti Haji Abdul Hadi for Best Platoon Sergeant;
2) 21474 Corporal Nurul Suriyana binti Haji Serbini for Best Female Instructor;
3) 21956 Recruit Nurain binti Mohd Sallih for Best Overall Recruit;
4) 21995 Recruit Nur Ezzah binti Mohd Hirmy for Best Recruit in Small Arms;
5) 21941 Recruit Nurul Asilah binti Zulkibli for Best in Physical Training; and
6) 21948 Recruit Dk Ummi Ramizah binti Pg Haji Jeludin, RBN for Best Military Skills.     




   

UPACARA PERBARISAN TAMAT LATIHAN BAGI REKRUT LELAKI PENGAMBILAN KE-162 DAN REKRUT WANITA PENGAMBILAN KE-54

PENANJONG GARISON, Jumaat, 12 Oktober 2018 – Seramai 158 anggota Rekrut Lelaki Pengambilan ke-162 dan seramai 67 anggota Rekrut Wanita Pengambilan ke-54 telah menamatkan latihan asas ketenteraan dengan Perbarisan Tamat Latihan yang diadakan hari ini di Padang Kawad Institut Latihan ABDB (IL ABDB), Penanjong Garison. Rekrut lelaki telah menjalani latihan selama 31 minggu sementara bagi rekrut wanita selama 21 minggu.

Tetamu kehormat bagi Upacara Perbarisan Tamat Latihan itu ialah Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof, Setiausaha Tetap Kementerian Hal Ehwal Ugama Negara Brunei Darussalam.

Turut hadir ialah Pemerintah ABDB, Mejar Jeneral Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Pemerintah-Pemerintah Angkatan Tentera, Komandan-Komandan, pegawai-pegawai kanan, pegawai dan anggota lain ABDB serta ahli keluarga dan rakan-rakan rekrut. 

Semasa upacara tersebut, tetamu kehormat telah berkesudian memeriksa perbarisan, dan menyampaikan anugerah-anugerah kepada jurulatih-jurulatih dan rekrut-rekrut yang telah menunjukkan prestasi yang cemerlang sepanjang latihan rekrut dijalankan.
Penerima-penerima anugerah bagi Pengambilan Rekrut Lelaki ke-162 adalah:-

1) 16439 Bintara Himran bin Haji Awang Hassan bagi Platun Sarjan Lelaki Terbaik;
2) 17077 Korporal Mahdini bin Osli bagi Jurulatih Lelaki Terbaik;
3) 52551 Rekrut Mohd Ali bin Emran bagi Rekrut Lelaki Terbaik Keseluruhan;
4) 52624 Rekrut Muhd Syazwan bin Mahni Azizan bagi Rekrut Terbaik Senjata Ringan;
5) 52578 Rekrut Muhammad Muiz bin Rafiudin bagi Latihan Jasmani Terbaik;  
6) 52706 Rekrut Khalid bin Haji Yussof, TLDB bagi Kemahiran Tentera Terbaik; dan
7) 52673 Rekrut (U) Ak Mohd Hamizan bin Pg Hj Gazali bagi Penembak Terbaik.

Manakala rekrut wanita juga diberikan anugerah dalam kategori yang sama iaitu:
