– With the consent of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of
Negara Brunei Darussalam, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Commander,
Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Laila Raja Major General Dato Paduka Seri
Haji Awang Halbi Bin Haji Mohd Yussof announced that 18 Senior
Officers of the RBAF has been consented to be promoted. The promotion
ceremony took place this morning at the Officers’ Mess Bolkiah Garrison.
Two officers promoted to Colonel; 8 officers
promoted to Substantive Lieutenant Colonel; and 8 officers promoted to
Acting Lieutenant Colonel.

Awang Halbi Bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Commander of RBAF presented the rank
insignias to these promoted senior officers in the witness of Service
Commanders and Commandants, Senior Officers and Officers of RBAF and
Ministry of Defence as well as family and friends of the promoted senior
officers.
