21 male students from forms threes
to five between ages 12 to 17 who participated in the three-day weekend camp
were trained to be well rounded students and with great qualities and
independence. They underwent mental, physical and spiritual learning, both in
the camp and outside the camp. They made site visits to mosques and other group
activities through out the Brunei Muara District and contributed to communal
work in a village. All these purpose was to induce a sense of courage, care and
self awareness towards themselves and their surroundings.
The programme was inaugurated for
the first time on Friday 22 June 2008 and it was conducted by the RBAF
Religious Department (JAMA’AT) with the collaboration of the RBAD Counselling
Centre.
