THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE AIR FORCE ORGANISED STATIC DISPLAY AT AIR MOVEMENT CENTRE
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday 31 October 2019 - The Republic of Singapore Air Force, Defence Attache Colonel Yeo Joon Hua Desmond recently organized a Static Display of Helicopters from RSAF & RBAirF, at the Air Movement Center, Royal Brunei Air Force.
Present as Guest of Honor was Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Commander and Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, the Royal Brunei Air Force Commander. Greeted at the venue by the Defence Attache of Singapore and aircrew of Helicopter Detachment Team RSAF from Jalan Aman camp, Chinook aircrew from the RSAF as well as the Royal Brunei Air Force helicopter crew.
At the static display, the lead helicopter chinook crew Major Kang Meng Hoe showed the guest of honor the Chinook Helicopter, explaining its capabilities and involvements throughout the service.
The Chinook helicopter crew recently made their flying navigation training from Singapore to Brunei, as well as conducting an exercise in the Temburong District.
Other assets also on display were the Super Puma from the Helicopter Detachment Team RSAF and S70-i Blackhawk RBAirF. A photo session was held before proceeding towards light refreshments before the event concluded.
The Static Display between RSAF and RBAirF is held once a year to show the cohesion from two air forces and maintain practical and operational relationships.
TENTERA UDARA REPUBLIK SINGAPURA MENGENDALI ACARA PAMERAN STATIK DI PUSAT PERGERAKAN UDARA
PANGKALAN TENTERA UDARA RIMBA, Khamis 31 Oktober 2019 - Atase Pertahanan Tentera Republik Singapura, Kolonel Yeo Joon Hua Desmond telah mengadakan acara pameran statik Helikopter dari Tentera Udara Republik Singapura dan Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei. Acara tersebut berlangsung di Pusat Pergerakan Udara, Pangkalan Rimba.
Hadir sebagai Tetamu Kehormat ialah Mejar Jeneral Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bte Pg Hj Mahmud, Pemerintah ABDB. Kehadiran beliau disambut oleh Pemerintah TUDB, Atase Pertahanan Republik Singapura ke Negara Brunei Darussalam, anggota-anggota dari
Detachment Helikopter Singapura dan TUDB.
Mejar Kang Meng Hoe, ketua
Chinook Detachment Team, telah membawa Tetamu Kehormat ke helikopter-helikopter yang berada di luar bangunan serta menunjukkan dan membagi maklumat tentang Helikopter Chinook.
Anggota-anggota Chinook telah pun berjaya melaksanakan terbang jauh navigasi dari negara Singapura ke Negara Brunei Darussalam. Mereka berada di negara ini selama beberapa minggu untuk terbang latihan di hutan daerah Temburong.
Aset-aset lain yang turut terlibat adalah Helikopter Super Puma milik
Detachment Helikopter Kem Aman dan S70i Blackhawk milik TUDB. Acara kemudian diteruskan dengan sesi bergambar ramai dan jamuan.
Pameran statik ini diantara kedua Tentera Udara ini diadakan sekali setahun dan menunjukkan tahap kerjasama yang tinggi diantara kedua organisasi.
