PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 30 September 2022 - A ceremony was held for the conversion to Islam of a member of the Special Forces Regiment (SFR) Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), and the celebration of three recent converts from the RBAF, held at Surau Asy-Syuja’ah, SFR, Penanjong Garrison.
Present as the guest of honour was Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander RBAF. Also present were Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Saifulrizal bin Abdul Latif, Commander Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Colonel (U) Hishamuddin bin Abidin as representative of the Commander Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), Dr Hajah Rohanita binti Haji Yaakub, Acting Deputy Director Pusat Da’wah Islamiah, RBAF officers, officers from the Islamic Da’wah Centre, Ministry of Religious Affairs, RPK members and family members of the new converts.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Al-Qur’an, followed by the recitation of the Shahada’ witnessed by a representative from the Islamic Da’awah Centre. The ceremony then continued with Takbir and was blessed with Dikir Marhaban and the customary Bunga Rampai ritual by the guest of honour as well as guests.
The function continued with the presentation of souvenirs by the RBAF Commander to the new converts comprised one SFR personnel, two RBAirF personnel, 1528 Lieutenant (U) Fazrina binti Tuah and 52677 Private (U) Romezi bin Tilau; and one RBLF personnel, 52608 Private Amir Syafiq bin Jainurin.
To bless the ceremony, Doa Selamat was recited by Major Ariffin bin Amit, Staff Officer Grade 1 for Religious Education from the RBAF Religious Directorate (JAMA’AT). The ceremony concluded with light refreshments and the signing of parchment by the RBAF Commander at the SFR’s Cookhouse, Penanjong Garrison.
MAJLIS PENGISLAMAN ANGGOTA REJIMEN PASUKAN KHAS SERTA MERAIKAN SAUDARA-SAUDARA BARU ANGGOTA ABDB
PENANJONG GARISON, Juma’at, 30 September 2022 – Majlis Pengislaman bagi salah seorang anggota Rejimen Pasukan Khas (RPK) Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) serta meraikan 3 orang saudara baru anggota ABDB telah diadakan di Surau Asy-Syuja’ah, RPK, Penanjong Garison.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat ialah Mejar Jeneral Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Pemerintah ABDB. Turut hadir ialah Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Saifulrizal bin Abdul Latif, Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB), Kolonel (U) Hishamuddin bin Abidin selaku wakil Pemerintah Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB), Dr Hajah Rohanita binti Haji Yaakub, Pemangku Penolong Pengarah Pusat Da’wah Islamiah, pegawai-pegawai ABDB dan Pusat Da'wah Islamiah serta anggota-anggota RPK dan ahli keluarga anggota-anggota yang diraikan.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan ayat suci Al-Qur’an dan diikuti dengan pengakuan lafaz Shahada’ serta ikrar pengislaman di hadapan Pegawai Pusat Da’wah Islamiah. Majlis kemudian diikuti dengan laungan Takbir dan diserikan dengan Dikir Marhaban dan taburan bunga rampai oleh tetamu kehormat majlis dan para jemputan yang hadir.
Majlis kemudian diteruskan dengan penyampaian cenderahati dari Pemerintah ABDB kepada saudara-saudara baru yang diraikan yang terdiri daripada seorang anggota RPK, dua anggota TUDB, 1528 Leftenan (U) Fazrina binti Tuah dan 52677 Soldadu (U) Romezi bin Tilau; dan seorang anggota TDDB, 52608 Soldadu Amir Syafiq bin Jainurin.
Bagi memberkati majlis, doa selamat dibacakan oleh Mejar Ariffin bin Amit, Pegawai Turus Tarbiyah Agama, Jabatanarah Agama ABDB (JAMA’AT) dan diakhiri dengan jamuan ringan dan penandatanganan lembaran lawatan oleh Pemerintah ABDB di Rumah Masak RPK, Penanjong Garison.
