LANGKAWI, MALAYSIA, Tuesday, 20 May 2025 – Colonel (U) Haji Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud, Commander Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) attended the 17th Edition of the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (LIMA) Exhibition that took place from 20 May 2025 to 24 May 2025, at the Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (MIEC) in Langkawi, Malaysia. This biennial event is one of the largest aerospace exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region. The Gracing Ceremony & Opening Gambit was officiated by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Yang Amat Berhormat Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim. This year's exhibition theme is “Innovate Today, Thrive Tomorrow".
The Commander RBAirF toured the exhibition at the MIEC to engage and expand networks with the defence industries and forge new insights into RBAirF's capability development plans. During the visit, the Commander RBAirF also took part in bilateral engagement with General Tan Sri Dato' Sri Mohd Asghar Khan Goriman Khan, Chief of the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) and the Chief of the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), Major General Kelvin Fan Sui Siong.
The Commander RBAirF also had the opportunity to meet Ms. Kelli Seybolt, the Deputy Under Secretary of the Air Force, International Affairs, and Lieutenant General Stephen Jost, the Commander of the United States Forces Japan and Commander of the Fifth Air Force, Pacific Air Forces, Yokota Air Base, Japan.
The Commander RBAirF also had the opportunity to visit the RBAirF Black Hawk S-70i crew that joined the static display. The RBAirF commander then witnessed several aero exhibitions and conducted strategic discussions with executives from several defence industries, including Embraer, MBDA, Thales, and Airbus.

Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (LIMA) Edisi ke-17 yang berlangsung pada 20 Mei hingga 24 Mei 2025, di
Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (MIEC) di Langkawi, Malaysia. Acara yang diadakan setiap dua tahun ini merupakan salah satu pameran aeroangkasa dan maritim terbesar di rantau Asia-Pasifik.
Gracing Ceremony & Opening Gambit telah dirasmikan oleh Perdana Menteri Malaysia, Yang Amat Berhormat Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim. Tema pameran tahun ini ialah "Inovasi Hari Ini, Pencapaian Masa Hadapan".
Pemerintah TUDB melawat pameran di MIEC untuk melibatkan diri dan mengembangkan hubungan dengan industri pertahanan untuk menjalin pandangan baru tentang rancangan pembangunan keupayaan TUDB. Semasa lawatan tersebut, Pemerintah TUDB turut mengadakan perjumpaan dua hala dengan Jeneral Tan Sri Dato' Sri Mohd Asghar Khan Goriman Khan, Panglima Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM) dan Pemerintah Tentera Udara Republik Singapura (TURS), Mejar Jeneral Kelvin Fan Sui Siong.
Pemerintah TUDB juga berpeluang bertemu dengan Ms. Kelli Seybolt,
Deputy Under Secretary of the Air Force, International Affairs, dan Leftenan Jeneral Stephen Jost, Pemerintah,
U.S. Forces, Japan, dan Pemerintah,
Fifth Air Force, Pacific Air Forces, Yokota Air Base, Japan.
Pemerintah TUDB juga berpeluang melawat krew Black Hawk S-70i TUDB yang menyertai pameran statik. Pemerintah TUDB kemudian menyaksikan beberapa pameran aero dan membuat perbincangan strategik dengan eksekutif dari beberapa industri pertahanan, termasuk Embraer, MBDA, Thales dan Airbus.
