MINISTRY OF DEFENCE SIGNS CONTRACT AGREEMENT WITH AIRBUS HELICOPTERS S.A.S.FOR THE ACQUISITION OF THE AIRBUS H145M HELICOPTERSprint

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Tuesday, 30 April 2024 – The Ministry of Defence, as a representative of the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam, signed a contract agreement with Airbus Helicopters S.A.S. for the acquisition of six new Airbus H145M helicopters today.  The signing ceremony took place at the Officers’ Mess, Bolkiah Garrison.

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Tuesday, 30 April 2024 – Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) attended the 2024 Indo-Pacific Chiefs of Defense (CHOD) virtual meeting.

REPUBLIC OF TURKIYE, Saturday, 27 April 2024 - Colonel (U) Hismawadi bin Mohamad Said, Acting Joint Force Commander Royal Brunei Armed Forces attended The World Border Security Congress held from 24-26 April 2024 at Gorrion Hotel Exhibition Hall in Istanbul. The Acting Joint Force Commander Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) was accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Haji Fadzli bin Haji Abdullah and Captain (U) Ahmad Farhan bin Haji Mohd Saifulizan, Staff Officers from the Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ). The event participated by 400 delegates representing 70 countries.

PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 26 April 2024 – A total of 135 male recruits of the Intake 173 have concluded their basic military training with a Passing Out Parade Ceremony held at the Parade Square of Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF), Penanjong Garrison this morning.

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Wednesday, 17 April 2024 – Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), received an introductory call from Vice Admiral Angus Topshee, Commander of The Royal Canadian Navy. Also present were High Commissioner for Canada in Brunei Darussalam, Acting Chief of Staff RBAF and Director of Intelligence.
