from what I have seen during my time in the PUA community is that PUA works only for guys who already have some advantage: like good looks, social status, lots of money, super self confidence and wit. Then all they need is basic social skills like small talk and to approach and talk to more girls.

after they get success they rationalize it as if they were pulling some game from their ass but in reality: the women were already into them because of what they had to offer.

If you are a regular guy (with an average or below average looks) and have nothing going for you- you will get shot down most of the time. Even if you managed to get one lay after getting 1000-2000 flakes is it really worth it?
