I also wondered if you (Kami) are happy with the lifestyle you’ve chosen for over 20 years – why are you pissed off at the labels some people might use to describe it? Seriously, why would you care after decades? And who would know anyway? Unless you like to flaunt? your private life to those who don’t share your casual approach to life?

I don’t get the point of this essay. Agree with Moxie – the double standard is in your head.

I’m not sure casual sex isn’t the norm. How many people wait to have sex until marriage? Until they become engaged? Have some kind of declaration of love and monogamy they expect will last more than a month or three?
