As a mixed raced man of color, who is well educated BTW, I’ve checked out numerous profiles of women of all races and notice that I have not received ANY reply messages from Asian or White women.
It is not secret that Asian women exclusively prefer white males even to the exclusive of Asian males. Asians have an identity issues which stem from post colonial/assimilation issues. THAT IS ANOTHER TALK SHOW.
White or European Americans have always and continue to have preferences for their own based on historical and cultural “God” complexes and a host of other issues. AGAIN, THAT IS ANOTHER TALK SHOW.
This is not to say that anyone is bad or a stone “racist” person ala the KKK or Aryan Nation. I THINK PEOPLE ARE INTERPRETING THIS.
What we simply need to recognize is that the “definition” or “racism” is broad and needs to interpreted in “context” of the “situation.”
In this situation, online dating OK Cupid’s finding show that race is an issue, people have “racial preferences” and that preference is in effect a part of being a person in a society that is racist. It is a simply fact that people will behave in a “racist” manner in choosing whom to reply to. That’s all.
However, I should note that studies show that most people do marry or find common ground with those of similar class and lifestyle first beyond class. So, please keep an open mind and reply if the person seems to share those things.
