SECOND TABLE TOP EXERCISE FOR MILITARY FLYING SECTORS

Rimba Air Base, Monday, 01 March 2021 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held the second Table Top Exercise (TTX) for Military Flying Sectors at Air Movement Centre, Rimba Air Base as it has reach to its second trial phase on implementing Military Flying Sectors which is a continuation from the first TTX, held last January. The new implementation includes multiple agencies comprises of the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA), the Republic Singapore Air Force (RSAF) and the 7th Flight of British Army.

Present to witness the TTX is Colonel (U) Hismawadi bin Haji Md Said, the Commander of Operations Group of RBAirF. In attendance were Senior Air Traffic Control Officer (SATCO), Aerodrome Controller and Radar Controller from DCA as well as pilots from both RSAF and 7th Flight of British Army.

The objective of the TTX is to familiarise on the new sectors, to discuss on rising issues or concerns that might have conflict with other military operations and to identify gaps during the first trial phase that was conducted from 1st February to 28th February 2021.

The TTX hopes to help the stakeholders in understanding the new concept of Military Flying Sectors and in ensuring the safety of the airspace.

 


LATIHAN 'TABLE TOP' YANG KE-2 BAGI MILITARY FLYING SECTORS

Pangkalan Tentera Udara Rimba, Isnin, 01 Mac 2021 – Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) telah mengendalikan Latihan Table Top (TTX) yang Ke-2 bagi Military Flying Sectors di Pusat Pergerakan Udara, Pangkalan Tentera Udara Rimba yang mana pelaksanaan projek tersebut telah mencapai ke Fasa Kedua. Pelaksanaan tersebut melibatkan pelbagai agensi seperti Jabatan Penerbangan Awam (JPA), Republic Singapore Air Force (RSAF) dan 7th Flight, British Army.

Hadir bagi menyaksikan latihan tersebut ialah Kolonel (U) Hismawadi bin Haji Md Said, Pemerintah Kumpulan Gerakan TUDB. Turut hadir ialah Senior Air Traffic Control Officer (SATCO), Aerodrome Controller dan Radar Controller dari JPA serta juruterbang dari RSAF dan 7th Flight.

Objektif bagi latihan ini ialah bagi menyesuaikan pengguna ruang udara bagi sektor tersebut dan untuk membincangkan isu-isu yang berbangkit mengenai sektor tersebut diantara pengguna ruang udara serta bagi mengenalpasti jurang semasa Fasa Pertama sektor tersebut dilaksanakan bermula 1 Februari hingga 28 Februari 2021.

Latihan TTX ini diharap dapat membantu pengguna ruang udara dalam memahami mengenai konsep Military Flying Sectors bagi memastikan keselamatan ruang udara sentiasa terjamin.
