OFFICIAL HANDOVER CEREMONY OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT FROM SINGAPORE ARMED FORCES TO THE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Wednesday, 08 September 2021 The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) this morning received donations in the form of medical equipment from the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) in an effort to contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abdul Kadir, Joint Force Commander Royal Brunei Armed Forces, received the donation on behalf of the Ministry of Defence and RBAF from Colonel Yeo Joon Hua Desmond, Defence Adviser, Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam.

Among some of the medical supplies donated were Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that included a total of 25,600 N95 masks, 75,000 surgical masks, 2,000 surgical gloves, 1,000 disposable gowns, 1,000 surgical caps, and 10,000 Antigen Rapid Test Kits. These arrived in Brunei Darussalam on Tuesday, 7 September 2021.

The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by Doa Khas COVID-19 and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam by Major Ariffin bin Amit, Deputy Head of the Religious Department of the RBAF. This was then followed by the official handover of the donation as well as a briefing by the Singapore Defence Adviser to Brunei Darussalam on the Antigen Rapid Test Kit that had been donated.




MAJLIS PENYERAHAN RASMI SUMBANGAN KELENGKAPAN PERUBATAN DARIPADA ANGKATAN BERSENJATA REPUBLIK SINGAPURA KEPADA ANGKATAN BERSENJATA DIRAJA BRUNEI

BOLKIAH GARISON, Rabu, 08 September 2021 - Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) telah menerima dana sumbangan berbentuk kelengkapan perubatan daripada Angkatan Bersenjata Republik Singapura pagi tadi dalam usaha untuk menangani penularan wabak COVID-19. 

Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abdul Kadir, Pemerintah Angkatan Bersama ABDB telah menerima sumbangan tersebut bagi pihak Kementerian Pertahanan dan ABDB daripada Kolonel Yeo Joon Hua Desmond, Penasihat Pertahanan Republik Singapura ke Negara Brunei Darussalam.

Sumbangan kelengkapan tersebut merangkumi Peralatan Perlindungan Diri (PPE) iaitu 25,600 keping N95 face masks, 75,000 sungkup muka pembedahan (surgical face mask), 2,000 helai surgical gloves, 1,000 helai disposable gowns, 1,000 helai surgical caps dan 10,000 buah kotak Antigen Rapid Test Kit yang tiba di Negara Brunei Darussalam pada Selasa, 07 September 2021.

Majlis tersebut telah dimulakan dengan bacaan surah Al-Fatihah, diikuti dengan bacaan Doa Khas COVID-19 dan Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam oleh Mejar Ariffin bin Amit, Penolong Ketua Jabatan Agama ABDB. Ini diteruskan dengan penyerahan rasmi sumbangan serta penerangan oleh Penasihat Pertahanan Republik Singapura ke Negara Brunei Darussalam mengenai Antigen Rapid Test Kit yang telah disumbangkan.
