Malacca, 9 September 2007 - Commander Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awg Halbi bin Haji Md Yussof has recently been bestowed the '10 Brigade Para Honorary Airborne Wing, Malaysian Army'. The ceremony took place on 7 Sep 2007 at the 10 Brigade Para Headquarters at Terendak Camp, Malacca.

The Ceremony began with the Commander RBAF inspecting the Quarter Guard mounted by the personnel of 10 Brigade Para. He was then ushered to the parade square where members of 10 Brigade Para performed the traditional 'Para Dance' before him as marked of honour and respect. On scene to present the 10 Brigade Para Honorary Airborne Wing was the Malaysian Army Chief General Tan Sri Muhammad Ismail bin Haji Jamaluddin and witnessed by the Commander of 10 Brigade Para Brigadier General Suhaimi bin Mohd Zuki. With this conferment it served as a testimony for the long established excellent relationship between RBAF and Malaysian Armed Forces.

On completion of the ceremony, a short discussion session was held at the office of Commander 10 Brigade Para between Commander RBAF, Chief of Malaysian Army, Commander 3 Division Malaysian Army and Commander of 10 Brigade Para. It ended with exchanged of mementos.
