Tutong, 4 November 2007 - In conjunction with its 46th anniversary, 497 Royal Brunei Land Forces personnel joined a march past ceremony headed by Major Zahrin bin Hj Zunaidi, Deputy Commanding Officer for the 1st Battalion RBLF, at the Tutong Camp.

Colonel Pengiran Dato Paduka Hj Rosli bin Pengiran Hj Chuchu, Royal Brunei Land Forces Commander, received the salute and inspected the march.

The RBLF Deputy Commander, battalion commanding officers, officers and RBLF personnel attended.

The concept for this year's anniversary is `Enchancing Strength Through Unity, Family and Society'.

Among the anniversary activities are a a tahlil ceremony at the Royal Mausoleum, a blood donation campaign, cleaning the cemetery , "Project Titian Amal," a forum and a Family Day.

A thanksgiving ceremony and Khatam al-Quran were held at the RBLF surau last Saturday.
