Penanjong
Garrison, Sunday 30 September - Penanjong Garrison
welcomed male recruits of the 134th intake of the
Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
The intake comprises 123 recruits, including five
cadet officers, who officially began their six months
of basic military training at Penanjong Garrison
Training Institute.
The recruits, accompanied by their parents and family
members, were briefed by an RBAF recruitment officer
who was a representative of the Commanding Officer
of RBAF Penanjong Garrison Training Institute recruit
company. This was followed by a question-and-answer
session.
Present as the guest of honour was Colonel (U) Pengiran
Hj Kamal Bashah bin Pengiran Hj Ahmad, the Ministry
of Defence Logistics Director, who explained to
the recruits about a career in the army.
At the end of the event, the recruits said their
good-byes to their parents and families before parting
to pursue their military training.
