Berakas Garrison, 27 September - Around 400 personnel from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces organised a gathering with the State Mufti at the Surau of Berakas Garrison.

The gathering with Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Dr Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned was the first to be held at the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Camp.

The State Mufti delivered a religious on the virtues of fasting during the month of Ramadhan at yesterday's event.

Also in attendance were Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yusof, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Rashid bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Deputy Permanent Secretary II at the Ministry of Defence, commanders, army commandants, senior army officers and staff.
