BERAKAS, Monday 24 Sept - A Doa Selamat ceremony for six (6) Royal Brunei Armed Forces personnel who will be representing Brunei Darussalam's forth (4th) contingent International Monitoring Team (IMT) to the Government of the Republic of the Philippines (GRP) and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) was held at Berakas Garrison Surau today.

The 4th Brunei IMT team will be taking over the third contingent who has been in Mindanao, Republic of Philippines since September 2006. The official farewell departure of the 4th contingent will be held tomorrow, Tuesday 24 September at Hangar B, Rimba Air Base. Meanwhile the 3rd contingent will be expected to be returning home the following day, Wednesday 25 Sept in the afternoon. Both groups will be using Flight CN235 Royal Brunei Air Force.

The Chief Guest at the function was the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Md Yussof. Also in attendance were Service Commanders and Commandants, Directors and other senior officers from the Ministry of Defence and the RBAF.
