hosted the working visit by Major General Ng Chee
Khern, the Chief of Air Force, Republic of Singapore
Air Force in conjunction with the 13th Exercise
Air Guard held in Brunei Darussalam from 20th to
31st August 2007.
Royal
Brunei Air Force, for the second time, host the
13th Exercise Air Guard which the two Air Forces
conduct jointly annually since 1994. The Exercise
Air Guard involved the Air Regiment of the Royal
Brunei Air Force and the Air Defence Systems Division
of the Republic of Singapore Air Force. Upon arrival
at the opening ceremony of the 13th Exercise Air
Guard, Major General Ng Chee Khern received the
guard of honour consists of personnel between the
two exercise contingent. The ceremony was held at
Hangar No 38 Squadron at Berakas Garrison.
Prior
to the opening ceremony, Major General Ng Chee Khern
paid a courtesy call on the Commander of Royal Brunei
Armed Forces, Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Lailaraja
Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi
bin Md Yussof at Bolkiah Garrison. A separate call
was also made on the Commander at the Royal Brunei
Air Force, Brigadier General Dato Paduka Haji Mahmud
bin Haji Saidin at the Rimba Air Base.
Major
General Ng Chee Khern is in the sultanate for the
official visit form 20th to 22nd August 2007.
