Bolkiah Garrison, Wednesday 12 September 2007- With the consent of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam, the Commander Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Md Yussof announced that 6 Senior Officers of the RBAF has been consented to be promoted. The promotion ceremony took place this morning at the Officers’ Mess Bolkiah Garrison.

2 officers promoted to Substantive Colonel; 1 officer promoted to (Local) Colonel; and 3 officers promoted to Acting Lieutenant Colonel.
The Guest of Honour of the ceremony, the Commander of RBAF presented the rank insignias to these promoted senior officers in the witness of Service Commanders and Commandants, Senior Officers and Officers of RBAF and Ministry of Defence as well as family and friends of the promoted senior officers.
The RBAF officers who are promoted are as follows:
