THE ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY CONDUCTS
MISSILE FIRING

MUARA, Wednesday, 06 September 2006 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) has successfully conducted its missile firing exercise today codenamed EXERCISE RAJAWALI. This exercise has been participated by two Missile Gun Boats, one Coastal Patrol Craft and one Landing craft. Also supporting the exercise was three aircraft including the Maritime Patrol Aircraft CN235 of the Royal Brunei Air Forces. Conducted at 100 nautical miles offshore, the exercise was also in collaboration with the Department of Civil Aviation and the Marine Department for traffic safety of surface ships and aircrafts in the South China Sea.

This exercise has been conducted to test the Missile Gun Boat command team competency in their missile firing procedures and as well as their combat procedures.
