Berakas Garison, Friday, 26 May 2006 - In conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces 45th Anniversary, children of the RBAF personnel who have achieved excellent exam results were celebrated this afternoon at the Officers' Mess at Berakas Garrison.

43 RBAF personnel's children who have excelled in the year 2005 public exam in 'A', 'O' Levels, PMB, PSR, Religious Education Certificate and Religious Primary 6 received their achievement awards at this ceremony. Certificates of Appreciation was also presented to representative from the BIDB or Islamic Bank Brunei Darussalam.

The Guests of Honour at the ceremony were the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Md Yussof and his spouse, Datin Hajah Kalshom binti Haji Suhaili. Also present were Unit Commanders and Commandants, Military Directors and Officers of the Ministry of Defence and RBAF, as well as parents, guardians and relatives of the children.
