Muara, Tuesday 18 Sept 2006 - This afternoon the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Swimming and Water Polo Championship Tournament for the year 2006 was held at the Muara Naval Base swimming pool.

The swimming championship was won by the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN). First-runner up went to the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) and the RBAF Support Services emerged as the second runner-up.

While in the water polo championship, the Royal Brunei Land Forces came first. Meanwhile Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) came in second place and third place went to RBAF Support Services.

The Guest of Honour and later presenting the trophies and prizes to the winners was the Commander of the RBAF, Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Md Yussof
