His Majesty Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Supreme Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed consented to bestow titles and present medals to 4 senior officials from the Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces during the ceremonious Audience and Investiture Ceremony. Held in conjunction with His Majesty's 60th Birthday, the ceremony took place at the Singgahsana Indera Buana of the Istana Nurul Iman on 15 July 2006.

The esteemed recipients were the Deputy Minister of Defence, Permanent Secretary, and some Service Commanders of RBAF. The investiture ceremony witnessed the bestowing of The "Darjah Seri Paduka Mahkota Brunei Yang Amat Mulia Darjah Pertama (S.P.M.B.)" that carries the title "Dato Seri Paduka" upon the Deputy Minister of Defence, Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Paduka Awg Hj Mohd Yasmin bin Hj Umar.

"Darjah Seri Paduka Mahkota Brunei Yang Amat Mulia Darjah Kedua (D.P.M.B.)" that carries the title "Dato Paduka" was awarded to the Permanent Secretary of Defence, Awg Haji Mustappa Hj Sirat; the Commander of Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) 189 Colonel Pengiran Haji Rosli bin Pengiran Haji Chuchu and the Commander of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Colonel (L) Haji Joharie bin Haji Matussin.
