Bandar Seri Begawan, Tuesday 15 March 2006 - This evening the Ministry of Defence is hosting the Inter-Ministrial Final Badminton Championship Tournament in conjunction of the 12th Public Services Day at the Pusat Belia Hall.

The Badminton Championship tournament which started since 02 Feb 2006 involved 9 teams from different ministries. The final tournament this evening will involve a match between the Ministry of Development against the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources.

Trophies and souvenirs of the badminton tournament will be announced to the winners by the hosting ministry to the Champion, First-Runner-up and Third place. The trophies and souvenirs will be presented by the Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office, Yang Mulia Dato Paduka Awang Haji Sulaiman bin Haji Ismail, Setiausaha Tetap di Jabatan Perdana Menteri.

The Inter-Ministerial Final Badminton Championship tournament this evening was won by the Ministry of Development. First-Runner up went to the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources. While third place were shared among the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Health.

Witnessing the Inter-Ministerial Final Badminton Championship Tournament in conjunction of the 12th Public Services Day this evening was Permanent Secretaries, Deputy Permanent Secretaries, Directors and Deputy Directors of the Public Services.
