Bolkiah Garrison, 1st May 2006 - Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Muta-Wakkilah Hayatul Bolkiah Binti Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah consented to make a working visit to the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Military Legal Unit at the Ministry of Defence Bolkiah Garrison this morning.

On Arrival, Her Royal Highness was greeted by the Deputy Minister of Defence, Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Paduka Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar and the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Md Yussof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence, Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat, Deputy Permanent Secretaries of Ministry of Defence and Senior Officers of RBAF.

Her Royal Highness visit program commenced with a presentation by the Acting Director of Personnel, Lt Colonel Hj Md Yussof bin Haji Abd Rahman on the history of establishment, roles and organizational structure of the Military Legal Unit. Soon after, Her Royal Highness consented to visit the Military Legal Unit and the Court Marshal to have a closer observation of the manning of the military legal system in RBAF and the facilities available. At the end of the visit, Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Muta-Wakkilah Hayatul Bolkiah then consented to sign a royal parchment in conjunction with the working visit.
