Bandar Seri Begawan, Wednesday, 01 Nov 2006 - This morning the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) paid their respects in a 'Tahlil' ceremony at the Royal Mausoleum in Jalan Tutong for the late parents of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit.

Colonel Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Rosli bin Pg Haji Chuchu, Commander of RBLF, led the congregation. Also present were senior officers and personnel from the RBLF.

This ceremony was part of several events been lined up in conjunction with the RBLF's 45th anniversary. Among the events held and to be held are parade, religious functions, blood donation campaign, charity projects, sports and cleaning up of Muslim cemeteries.
