Roles of Training Institute Of Royal Brunei Armed Forces


The roles of the Training Institute Of Royal Brunei Armed Forces are as follows:


  • To train potential female and male recruits before they served as a trained soldiers in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.


  • To train all levels of personnel in Military warfare.


  • To train all levels of personnel in the RBAF in the field of signal and communication.


  • To train RBAF personnel in the use of Information Communication Technology and also in the field of office administration.


  • To train and prepare basic and advanced English Language for personnel who are going for overseas course.


  • To train the young soldiers, also known as Boys' Wing, in academic studies up to 'O' levels and also to expose them to military tactics and jungle warfare.


  • To teach loan service personnel Basic Malay.


  • To provide a theory and practical examinations for RBAF Officers.


  • To train the secondary school students in the field of basic military training as the Extra Curricula Activities.
