Parachute Airborne Tactical Delivery Unit

The main roles of Parachute Airborne Tactical Delivery Unit (PATDU) are to provide jungle rescue team, jungle line resupply, multi rope abseil. PATDU is also involve in parachute competition in regional or international level.


Fire Unit

Fire Unit is to provide cover if any aircrafts are in emergency cases.


AIR REGIMENT

The Air Regiment consists of three units and Technical Traing School.

No 33 Squadron

The No 33 Squadron was formerly known as the Air Battery. The No 33 Squadron is equipped with the Rapier. Its capability was a short-range missile launcher.



No 38 Squadron

The No 38 Squadron is equipped with the Mistral. It has the capability of very short-range missile launcher.


Base Defence Squadron

The role of Base Defence Squadron is to protect the Rimba Air Base and Forward Operating Base.


Technical Training School

The Technical Training School is responsible in producing qualified technician for Air Regiment and organising courses related to Air Regiment.
