Cooperation with Royal Malaysia Air Force.

In 1998, Air working group was established under the defence committe between Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia. It involves both countries Air Forces. Some of the achievements are as follows:

• Search and Rescue Exercise known as SAREX MALBRU is held yearly since 2000.



• Staff Visit and Exchange Programmes has started since 1999. This has developed good relation for both sides whereby any air activities coordination exercise such as request for diplomatic air clearance has since been smoothly carried out.
