Lieutenant Colonel (U) Radhuan bin Haji Abdul Hamid (Radhuan)
Lieutenant Colonel (U) Radhuan bin Haji Abdul Hamid (Radhuan) joined the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) in February 1998 and was later commissioned in August 1999 after completing Initial Officer Training (IOT) 178 at the Royal Air Force (RAF) College, Cranwell in UK. Upon his return, he then completed his basic flying training with the Royal Brunei Airforce (RBAirF) No.3 Sqn, Basic Flying Training School (BFTS).
He was posted to No.5 Sqn to complete his multi-engine flying training as a CN235 pilot. His experience includes flying mainly Maritime Surveillance Missions and Regional Transport Missions including Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations in Aceh, Indonesia (2005). He was later posted to the Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) as the Staff Officer grade 2 in Joint Planning (SO2J5) in 2008.
His Staff Training has included the RBAF Junior Staff Course (JSC) in 2007 and the RBAF Command and Staff College (CSC) in Joint International Security in 2014 at Defence Academy (DA) RBAF.
He is married to Siti Nurmariana binti Abdullah Loo (Mariana) and they are blessed with 4 children; Rusyaidi Safwan (2005), Nabilah Sorfina (2007), Raqib Marzuqi (2013) and Rayhan Marwan (2018). Radhuan enjoys hiking and fishing in his pastime.
