​PRIME MINISTER’S OFFICE, Thursday, 18 April 2024 – Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II today received a courtesy call from His Excellency Tran Anh Vu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of The Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to Brunei Darussalam.

​BOLKIAH GARRISON, Wednesday, 17 April 2024 – Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), received an introductory call from Vice Admiral Angus Topshee, Commander of The Royal Canadian Navy. Also present were High Commissioner for Canada in Brunei Darussalam, Acting Chief of Staff RBAF and Director of Intelligence.

​PRIME MINISTER’S OFFICE, Tuesday, 9 April 2024 –Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II bid farewell to Senior Colonel Khanchit Wichaworn, the outgoing Defence Attaché of the Kingdom of Thailand to Negara Brunei Darussalam, during a formal farewell meeting today. Yang Berhormat Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II also welcomed Senior Captain Woravit Pranet, the newly appointed Defence Attaché of the Kingdom of Thailand to Brunei Darussalam, during an introductory meeting.​

MINISTRY OF DEFENCE HOLDS THE THIRD KHATAM AL-QUR’AN FOR 1445 HIJRAH/2024 MASEHIprint

​RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Tuesday, 09 April 2024 – In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan 1445 Hijrah, the Ministry of Defence through the Ihya and Ramadhan Outreach Programme conducted its third Khatam Al-Qur’an event at Surau Al-Barakah, Rimba Air Force Base. Similar events were also held concurrently at all Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) suraus in garrison, camps and bases, including Pulau Baru-Baru Mosque.
