•    1986 – 1990 : Engineer Field Troop Commander
•    1990 – 1993 : Staff Officer Grade 3 G1 (Personnel and Administration) at Headquarters Task Force (presently the Headquarters RBLF)
•    1993-1996 : Company Commander of G/B Company and subsequently Company Commander of Command Company 2nd Battalion RBLF
•    1998 – 1999 : Staff Officer Grade 2 to Commander (CDF) of the RBAF
•    1999 : Staff Officer Grade 2 Operations and Training at Headquarters RBLF
•    2000 – 2001 : Second-in-Command of 3rd Battalion RBLF
•    2001 – 2003 : Commanding Officer of 3rd Battalion RBLF
