Mindef Civilians Receives Course On Fasting

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday 20 July 2012 - A total of 19 participants which consisted of four male and 15 female participants have completed the Fasting Course for the civilian personnel of the Ministry of Defence organized by the Religious Office, Directorate of Administration and Manpower, Ministry of Defence.

The Fasting Course was conducted for four days starting 17 July and ended on 20 July 20 at the Religious Office, Bolkiah Garrison.

The closing ceremony and certificates of course completion were presented by the Head of the Religious, Directorate of Administration and Manpower, Ministry of Defence, Ustaz Haji Roslan bin Haji Sulaiman.

Among the objectives of the course were participants are able to apply spiritual values in them about the virtues and worship of fasting, review the fasting program being conducted, exchange of views with the facilitators about the problems of fasting. With this course, participants are better prepared to face the challenge of fasting in the month of Ramadan.

Also, during the course, participants were also tested on their reading of the Quran and to those who do not recite the Al-Quran well, they will be given guidance class called Tahsin Al-Quran.

BOLKIAH GARISON, 20 Julai 2012 – Seramai 19 orang peserta terdiri daripada empat peserta lelaki dan 15 peserta perempuan telah menamatkan Kursus Ibadah Puasa bagi warga awam Kementerian Pertahanan yang dikelolakan oleh Pejabat Bahagian Ugama, Jabatanarah Pentadbiran dan Tenaga Manusia, Kementerian Pertahanan. 

Kursus Ibadah Puasa itu telah dijalankan selama empat hari bermula 17 Julai dan berakhir pada 20 Julai di Pejabat Bahagian Ugama, Bolkiah Garison. Majlis penutup dan penyampaian sijil disempurnakan oleh Ketua Bahagian Ugama, Jabatanarah Petadbiran dan Tenaga Manusia, Kementerian Pertahanan, Ustaz Haji Roslan bin Haji Sulaiman.

Antara objektif kursus itu diadakan adalah para peserta kursus dapat menerapkan nilai-nilai kerohanian ke dalam diri mereka mengenai ibadah dan fadhilat berpuasa, mengulang kaji program Ibadah puasa yang dijalankan, bertukar pandangan bersama tenaga fasilitator mengenai permasalahan ibadah puasa. Dengan adanya kursus itu, peserta lebih bersedia bagi menghadapi ujian berpuasa di bulan Ramadan ini.

Melalui kursus itu juga, para peserta juga turut diuji tahap pembacaan Al-Quran mereka dan kepada peserta yang kurang lancar membaca Al-Quran, mereka akan diberikan bimbingan kelas Tahsin al-Quran.
