Congratulation To MINDEF as Champion in PSKK 2012

BERAKAS, Saturday 28 January 2012 – The hard work and relentless effort of the sportsmen and women representing the Ministry of Defence at the Inter-Ministry Sports Festival (PSKK) 2012 has finally come to fruition today when the Ministry of Defence was declared the overall champion of PSKK 2012.

The medal count for the Ministry of Defence, as the champion, collected 20 gold, 14 silver and 20 bronze medals. In 2nd place, the Ministry of Education collected 20 gold, 14 silver, and 13 bronze medals. In 3rd place, the Prime Minister’s Office collected 18 gold, 22 silver, and 18 bronze medals. While in 4th place, the Ministry of Development, bagged 13 gold, 14 silver, and 9 bronze medals.

The Inter-Ministry Sports Festival (PSKK) 2012 which started on 21 January concluded today with the closing ceremony held at the Indoor Stadium of the National Stadium Complex Berakas. Present at the closing ceremony as the Guest of Honour was Dato Paduka Haji Awang Abdul Wahab bin Juned, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office.

In an interview with the Deputy Permanent Secretary(Administration and Finance), Colonel(Rtd) Pg Dato Paduka Haji Azmansham bin Pg Haji Mohamad as the Chief de'Mission express his happiness and satisfied with the performances of Ministry of Defence athletes. Eventhough we were busy with the 10th Brunei International Skills at Arms Meet (10th BISAM) 2012, we have to split the potential personnel for the two events, we managed to do well.

Lastly, the Chief de'Mission would like to personally thank the athletes of Ministry of Defence, the army personnel, ministry civilians for their endless efforts to make this all worthwhille.

TAHNIAH KEPADA KEMENTERIAN PERTAHANAN SEBAGAI JUARA DALAM PSKK 2012

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sabtu 28 Januari 2012 - Kerja-kerja keras dan usaha yang tidak henti-henti dari olahragawan dan wanita yang mewakili Kementerian Pertahanan dalam Pesta Sukan Kementerian-Kementarian (PSKK) 2012 akhirnya membuahkan hasil hari ini apabila Kementerian Pertahanan telah diisytiharkan juara keseluruhan PSKK 2012.

Kiraan kutipan pingat bagi Kementerian Pertahanan, sebagai juara, mengumpul 20 emas, 14 perak dan 20 gangsa. Di tempat kedua, Kementerian Pendidikan berjaya mengumpul 20 emas, 14 perak dan 13 gangsa. Di tempat ketiga, Pejabat Perdana Menteri mengumpul 18 emas, 22 perak dan 18 gangsa. Sementara di tempat keempat, Kementerian Pembangunan, mengutip 13 emas, 14 perak dan 9 gangsa.

Pesta Sukan Kementerian-Kementerian (PSKK) 2012 berakhir hari ini di Stadium Tertutup Kompleks Sukan Berakas. Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat ialah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Abdul Wahab bin Juned, Timbalan Menter di Jabatan Perdana Menteri.

Dalam temubual dengan Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap(Pendtadbiran dan Kewangan), Kolonel(B) Pg Dato Paduka Haji Azmansham bin Pg Haji Mohamad selaku Ketua Kontinjen melahirkan rasa gembira dan berpuas hati dengan pencapaian atlet-atlet Kementerian Pertahanan. Walaupun di masa yang sama Kementerian Pertahanan sibuk mengendalikan Kejohanan Kemahiran Menembak Antarabangsa Brunei ke 10 (10th BISAM) namun Kementerian Pertahanan masih mampu membuat yang terbaik dengan membahagikan masa antara dua acara.

Akhirnya Ketua Kontinjen ingin mengucapkan terima kasih kepada atlet-atlet Kementerian Pertahanan, anggota-anggota ABDB dan kakitangan awam Kementerian Pertahanan di atas usaha dan pencapaian mereka.
