Istana Nurul Iman, Monday 08 March 2010 – His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Minister of Defence and Supreme Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) has consented to receive in audience the outgoing Chief of Defence Force, Singapore Armed Forces, His Excellency Lieutenant General Dato Paduka Seri Desmond Kuek Bak Chye at the Istana Nurul Iman this afternoon.

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Monday 08 March 2010 – The Ministry of Defence this afternoon received a farewell call by the outgoing Chief of Defence Force, Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), His Excellency Lieutenant General Dato Paduka Seri Desmond Kuek Bak Chye at Bolkiah Garrison.

Kuala Lumpur, Friday, 5 March 2010 – The 13th Joint Defence Working Committee (JDWC) Meeting between Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam was held at The Royale Chulan, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The meeting was co-chaired by the Secretary General, Ministry of Defence Malaysia, Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Sri Haji Abu Bakar Haji Abdullah and Permanent Secretary II of the Ministry of Defence Brunei Darussalam, Dato Paduka Hj Abd Majid bin Mangarshah.
