Bandar Seri Begawan, Sunday 29 June 2008 - The finals of the military cadet march competition, involving cadet platoons from secondary schools and colleges in the country, was held yesterday at the ‘Askar Simpanan Melayu Diraja Brunei’ (ASMDB) march field.

Twenty-two squads took part in the competition, which aimed to select the best three team marches and the best three solo marches for the platoon head, as well as to test the ability of each march teams in reaching a required level.

The winner and the first runner-up will represent their school or college for the birthday celebration of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam this year.

Bandar Seri Begawan, Saturday 28 June 2008 – RBAF Sport Council were the silat champions in the just concluded 8th  The soldiers were also champion in fencing with three gold, three silver and six bronze  medals.   RBAF Sport Council also won in football and men’s hockey. Pesta Sukan Kebangsaan collecting a total of 13 gold, three silver and two bronze medals.

The medals at the champions was presented by Commander of the RBAF, YDM Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi.
