BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Wednesday, 10 March 2010 - The Ministry of Defence successfully became the first team to snatch the gold medal in the top spinning or ‘Gasing’ event of the 16th Inter-Ministry Sport Festival 2009.The competition participated by five teams was held at the top spinning ring at the Hassanal Bolkiah Sports Complex.

BERAKAS, Wednesday 10 March 2010 - The Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) tug-of-war team won the 1100kg category and claimed gold medal at the final of the Traditional Tug-of-War at the Inter-Ministry Sport Festival 2009 in conjunction with the 16th Public Service Day Celebration held at the Berakas Sports Complex last night.

LUMUT, Wednesday 10 March 2010 – Thirty personnel from the Third Battalion of the Royal Brunel Land Force (RBLF) turned up in a cleaning-up campaign of cleaning the compound of the Zainab mosque in Kampung Lumut in the Belait District yesterday morning.
