Introduction (Operations)
INTRODUCTION
Directorate Operations (Dte Ops) is responsible in supporting the commander RBAF in carrying out the defence and operational planning of RBAF pertaining to the defence of Negara Brunei Darussalam. It is also responsible for the execution of Capability Acquisition and Lifecycle Management (CA LM) of the RBAF and the management of the Special Combat Squadron. Dte Ops also coordinate RBAF support to other government agencies in Non-Conventional Threat(Operations other than war).
MISSION
To develop and coordinate military operations planning
ROLE
- To plan and coordinate RBAF Joint Operations
- To develop Capability Requirement and Manage Equipment Acquisitions
- To plan and coordinate RBAF support for National Crisis Management
- To command and control special operations
