Badminton Friendly Match

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday 6 July 2012 - The Ministry of Defence badminton team held a friendly match against the badminton team from Muara Police Station Hall Consumer at the Ministry of Defence new gymnasium. The MinDef team was led by the Acting Director of Defence Policy, Jolkipli bin Haji Hidop. Meanwhile the Muara Police Station Hall Consumer team was led by ASP Haji Mohamad Noor bin Haji Abd Rahman.
More than 80 players took part in the friendly match and last night's game saw several categories being played that include men and ladies single; men and ladies double; and mixed double.
The badminton friendly match is a regular sports feature for MinDef badminton team as a way to foster close relations with other badminton team throughout the country. It is also aim at boosting the physical readiness of athletes vying for various sports meet at MinDef and national levels.
