Commander of Royal Jordanian Naval Force Official Visits To Royal Brunei Navy

MUARA, Monday 25 June 2012 - The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) today welcomed a visit by the Commander of Royal Jordanian Naval Force, Brigadier General Qasem Fadeel Nahar Tanashat, with delegation at RBN Headquarters.
Upon arrival, Brigadier General Qasem Fadeel Nahar Tanashat was received by First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Halim bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Commander of Royal Brunei Navy.
Brigadier General Qasem Fadeel Nahar Tanashat was accorded with a Guard of Honour mounted by personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy. After reviewing the Guard of Honour, Brigadier General Qasem Fadeel Nahar Tanashat proceeded to pay a courtesy call to First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Halim bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Commander of Royal Brunei Navy.
During the call, both sides also had the opportunity to exchange views on the current development between both navies and to explore areas of naval cooperation. A brief on RBN roles and organisation was also given to the visiting dignitary. Later Brigadier General Qasem Fadeel Nahar Tanashat also had the opportunity to visit one of RBN Darussalam Class Patrol Vessel.
Brigadier General Qasem Fadeel Nahar Tanashat and spouse, as well as delegates will be in Brunei Darussalam for a four-day official visit. During the visit, Brigadier General Qasem Fadeel Nahar Tanashat will also call on the Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin.
Brigadier General Qasem Fadeel Nahar Tanashat attended the First Brunei International Fleet Review in July 2011.
