BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Tuesday 14 May 2013 - A Tahlil ceremony was held for the late parents of His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien and Al-Marhumah Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit at the Royal Mausoleum this morning.

Attending ceremony was the Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy, Colonel (L) Pengiran Norazmi bin Pengiran Muhammad. Also there to attending the ceremony were officers and personnel of Royal Brunei Navy (RBN).

RIMBA, Tuesday 14 Mei 2013 - As part of the RBAF community contribution in conjunction with the 52nd anniversary of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), a blood donation campaign continue today with personnel from the Royal Brunei Air Force.

The campaign took place at PUNAI Hall in Rimba Air Base. This campaign also started at Rimba Air Base on Tuesday 07 May 2013 and followed by Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces at Penanjong Garrison on Thursday 09 May 2013.

Attending the ceremony were the Deputy Minister of Defence, Dato Paduka Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat, RBAF Commander, Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Defence Executive Committee Members, RBAF Joint Force Commander, Representatives of Services Commanders,  Commandant of Training Institute RBAF, Civilian and Military Directors, Officers and personnel from the Ministry of Defence and Bolkiah Garrison.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sabtu 11 Mei 2013 - Kementerian Pertahanan telah berjaya meraih di tempat ketiga dalam Pesta Sukan Kementerian - Kementerian 2013 (PSKK 2013), setelah menjadi Juara Keseluruhan pada tahun 2011 dan 2012. Pada tahun ini, sebanyak 9 acara sukan dipertandingkan dengan penyertaan seramai 2063 pegawai-pegawai dan kakitangan kerajaan.

Kontingen Kementerian Pertahanan yang diketuai oleh Awang Haji Azhar Bin Haji Ahmad, Timbalan Setiausaha Tetap (Teknologi), selaku Ketua Kontingen telah bertarung dengan semangat yang kental dan akhirnya berjaya meraih pingat yang terbanyak didalam kejohanan kali ini sebanyak 60 pingat.

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday 10 May 2013 – Brigadier General Benedict Lim, Commandant of SAFTI, Military Institute, Republic of Singapore Armed Forces, made a courtesy call this morning to the Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin. Brigadier General Benedict Lim assumed command as Commandant of SAFTI, Military Institute on 9 February 2012.

The Commandant is here for a working meeting for the upcoming 6th Brunei-Singapore Defence Scholars Leadership Development Programme, which is scheduled to run in July-August 2013.
