PENANJONG GARISON, Isnin, 09 Dis 2013 - Surau Penanjong Garison- Pembukaan Program Syababul Watan (Tunas Bangsa) bagi tahun 1435H/2013M telah dirasmikan oleh tetamu kehormat majlis, Lt Kol (L) Hussein bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohamad, Pegarah Logistik.
Acara telah dimulakan dengan bacaan ayat suci Al-Quran yang dibacakan oleh 19036 Sld Ak Md.Nur’Aqib, dari Jabatan Agama ABDB. Beliau telah membaca Surah Al- Isra’ dari ayat 23 sehingga ayat ke 26.
SUNGAI AKAR CAMP, 7 Dec 2013 – Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces welcomed a visit by His Excellency Major General TNI Sumardi, Governor of Military Academy Indonesian Army and delegation from 5th -8th December 2013 at the Sungai Akar Camp.
Upon arrival, His Excellency Major General TNI Sumardi was received by Colonel Haji Abdul Hadi bin Haji Saim, the Commandant of Defence Academy and other senior officers from Defence Academy. During the visit, the delegation paid a courtesy call to the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin. Exchange of views on the development and progress of the respective armed forces as well as other areas of cooperation related to training was discussed during the courtesy call.

JERUDONG, 6 Dec 2013 - The fourth Brunei Darussalam International Defence Exhibition (BRIDEX) 2013 ended after attracting leading exhibitors from 29 countries and seeing the attendance of international invited delegates from 33 countries.
Exhibitors in the defence industry took part in the five-day event, which began on Monday, to introduce their latest innovations and technological developments. Under the theme of “Bridging the Capability Gap” the exhibition was organised by the Royal Brunei Technical Services (RBTS) and was fully supported by the Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
JERUDONG, Friday 6 Dec 2013 - The last days of the Brunei Darussalam Defence International Exhibition (BRIDEX) 2013 and static display at the Royal Brunei Air Force Rimba Base drew more crowds from the public and government officials.
The exhibition, especially, saw a huge attraction at the Sikorsky S-70i Black Hawk display at the Exhibition Hall 2. The newly unveiled S-70i also received visits from the Minister of Communications, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Hamzah Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdullah Bin Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Haji Bakar and the Deputy Minister of Finance, Dato Paduka Awang Haji Bahrin bin Abdullah.
RIMBA AIR BASE, Friday 6 Dec 2013 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) has successfully organized the Air Display event in conjunction with the 4th BRIDEX 2013. The event took place from 2nd Dec – 6 Dec 2013 where 3 days were open to Public.
The Air Display event presents aircrafts from the Alap-Alap PC7 of the RBAirF, Osprey from the United States Marine Corps (USMC), The Jupiter Aerobatic Team, KT1-Woongbi from Tentera Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Udara (TNI AU) and The F15 from Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) showing their aerobatic skills and flares on the shore of BRIDEX Centre.
MUARA, Friday 6 Dec 2013 – the Commander of Royal Cambodian Navy, Vice Admiral Tea Vinh and delegations today made an official visit to Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) in conjunction with Brunei International Defence Exhibition (BRDEX) 2013.
Upon his arrival at the Royal Brunei Navy headquarters, Vice Admiral Tea Vinh was received by, Commander of Royal Brunei Navy, First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Halim bin Haji Mohd Hanifah and followed by the inspection on the Guard of Honour exhibited by personnel from the Royal Brunei Navy.
JERUDONG, Friday 6 Dec 2013 – Calibration Centre Ministry of Defence (Mindef) was also featured at the Brunei Darussalam International Defence Exhibition (BRIDEX) 2013. Visitors were enthusiastic as they gained information and knowledge about the services and facilities the Calibration Centre provides to its customers.
The Calibration Centre is owned and funded by the Government of His Majesty Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam through the Ministry of Defence. It is maintained to support the equipment of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defence. To widen its services across the nation, the Calibration Centre also open its services to all Government departments and to private sectors.
